Sierpinski Tetrahedra with Butterflies
taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens Butterfly Pavilion

There are very few images of the butterlies with the Sierpinski tetrahedra, because the butterflies seem to 1) diminish the tetrahedra, and 2) require center stage all the way. They look better alone. These pictures were taken for aesthetic value. Although fractal branching is visible in the wings of the butterflies, especially where the light is shining through them, and some of their colorful patterns MAY have fractal properties, I did not take the pictures to make a fractals-in-nature 'connection'.

If you like looking at the butterflies, I have a separate gallery for butterflies only, also a butterflies coloring page.
