The pictures in this row and the two rows that follow were taken at ASU's Secret Garden, aka Hidden Garden, in March 2003. The structures above are from the set of tetrahedra seen on my Sierpinski Tetrahedron and its Complement page. There have only been a few occasions that I have placed structures from this set in natural environments. I still have to get names for the plants. It should be noted that the ASU Main campus is an arboretum.

In the picture above-left, the large blue object is a huge vase or urn of some kind. It must be six or seven feet tall

The petals of these beautiful little flowers have a crispy texture, as though they were dried. The petals are stiff, with a sheen to them. As mentioned above, these are from a specific garden area at ASU, I believe in the courtyard of McClintock Hall.

These pictures were taken on Orange Mall, and the tall, pink flowers were nearly unbelieveable to look at.

The tree is a Weeping Bottlebrush (Callistemon veminalis) of the Myrtle Family from Australia. I got this information from a sign posted on the trunk of the tree. The location is the south side of the Dixie Gammage building.

I realize this picture isn't stunning, but the vine is growing straight up and lays so flat against the wall that I had to include a picture from this series on the page. Taken on Palm Walk.
